Adams finished the round well, lunging in with a brace of clean rights and landing her jab. Cancan has been moving off well behind her southpaw jab. Cancan gets the first round.

Could Nicola be starting to work out the Chinese southpaw. A hefty left tips Ren off balance and Adams attacks with a cluster of punches before the end of the round. She wins the second round.

Cancan starts the third round more busily but as the round progresses Adams is measuring her out with jabs. A closer session, but the Briton takes it.

10:12  Round Four

Cancan clips her with a right hook, but Adams makes some eye catching countering right crosses tell. Cancan pumps her fist as she waits for the decision.

"I was enjoying myself in the ring, it was always going to be tough against a five-time World champion. I just had to work hard and keep building and building as the rounds went on," Adams said. "I was taking my time in the first round, not rushing. She's a quick counter-puncher. I didn't want to take any chances and I just built up from there."
